A Critical Opportunity for San Francisco Bay

The former home to two hunting clubs, Whistling Wings and Pintail Duck Clubs, Newark Area 4 was bought by developers and has been closed off to the public for over 30 years. Get Involved

In order to protect and restore Newark Area 4 it is going to take all of us around the region and beyond to speak up and make clear that what happens in one part of the Bay, impacts all of the Bay.  Over 50 years ago, thousands of Bay Area residents worked together to launch the “Save The Bay” movement to stop the destruction of our Bay from being filled in by developers, trash dumps, roadways and more. It’s now up to us to work together yet again to ensure that the Bay’s remaining restorable wetlands are not paved over, and that the Bay has room to grow as sea levels rise. Get involved to support a protected, accessible and resilient Bay!
